chip, central wavelength 1683nm, wavelength tolerance is +/-1nm, typical output
power 10mW, 14-pin BTF package, compliant with Telcordia GR-468 and RoHS. With
a single-mode fiber and an FC/APC connector, it is ideal for TDLAS and C2H6 gas
detection systems.

(2) What is the package type and mounting method?
--1683nm 10mW Fiber Coupled Laser is housed in a standard 14-pin
butterfly package, compatible with mainstream laser sockets and mounting
fixtures. Mounting holes are provided for screw fixation or thermal pad
attachment.
(3) Is sample testing available? What services are offered for bulk procurement?

Notes
● This device is electrostatic-sensitive; therefore, strict adherence
to anti-static protection measures is required during packaging,
transportation, and usage. Additionally, precautions must be taken to prevent
power supply surges, as failure to do so may result in permanent damage to the
device (e.g., ensuring proper equipment grounding and wearing an anti-static
wrist strap).
● If the pins require soldering, the soldering temperature must not
exceed 260°C, and the soldering time must not exceed 10 seconds. Particular
attention must be paid to the following: during the soldering process, the
device must be in an unpowered state, and the soldering iron must be properly
grounded.
● When using the device, strictly adhere to the operating voltage and
current ranges specified in the datasheet. Key parameters—including Ith
(Threshold Current), Iop max (Maximum Operating Current), Vop max (Maximum
Operating Voltage), and λc (Center Wavelength)—should be referenced
specifically in the test report provided at the time of shipment.Note:Operation
beyond the absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to the device.

● Warranty Period:
Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1
year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.
● Exclusions from Free Warranty:
During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services
will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box
Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following
cases within the warranty period:
(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or
environmental influences.
(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.
(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.
(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.
(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.
(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
