The 1064nm high-power laser source is based on a high-performance semiconductor laser chip, with 105/125um fiber-coupled output, and a constant-current driving circuit designed to ensure safe and stable operation of the laser. suitable for applications in fiber laser pumping, biomedicine, and so on. Operation Steps


Step1.Unpacking: Before assembly, check whether all accessories are complete, including pump source module, USB data cable, power adapter, test report, etc.


Step2.Power supply: Connected to a DC switching power supply or a regulated power supply that meets their power supply requirements. Use only the original matched power adapter (DC12V). Improper power adapters may damage the light source. (Power adapter supplied according to local voltage standards.)


Step3.Connecting output fiber: Open the dust cap at the fiber connector or flange, check the fiber end face, and connect the fiber or splice the fiber to the device or power meter to be tested after confirming that there is no pollution and damage.


Setp4.Connect to the host computer: Use the USB-RS232 DB9 Data Cable to connect the 1064nm Multimode Fiber High-Power Pump Source and the computer; the computer must first install a dedicated serial port driver to identify the USB-RS232 serial port data cable, otherwise the host computer software and the light source module cannot be correctly connected and communicated. Please ask Box Optronics for the driver.

Step5.Control software: Box Optronics provides the serial command or PC software to control the LD current and LD temperature of the 1064nm Multimode Fiber High-Power Pump Source. Choose the correct port, set the current and temperature, then click the open button. (To prevent damage, ramp up the drive current slowly at initial operation. Do not apply full current immediately.)


Step6.After use, click the close button, turn off the power supply, and disconnect the fiber connection.

Operation Notes and Maintenance


● During long-term use, attention should be paid to the heat dissipation of the laser source. The laser source should be fixed on the heat sink and cooled by a fan.

● Before using a laser source with a fiber connector, it is necessary to ensure that the end face of the fiber optic connector is clean to avoid burning out the fiber optic plug, which is not covered by the free warranty.

● Ensure that everyone in the area is wearing appropriate laser safety eyewear to protect against the radiation generated by the laser. It is assumed that the operator is familiar with the dangers involved in laser operation and laser safety practices.

● When the device is in use, the device can emit many watts of optical radiation. This presents both an eye safety hazard and a potential heat source to ignite combustibles.

● Install an adequate beam stop to capture optical radiation from the fiber end. Ensure that the output is directed at an appropriate beam stop or the intended target.

● Always ramp the current applied to the device from zero to the desired level. Reverse this procedure when turning the diode off.

● Operation at powers and temperatures above specification will accelerate device aging and can destroy the device.


Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service


● Warranty Period:

Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1 year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.

● Exclusions from Free Warranty:

During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following cases within the warranty period:

(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or environmental influences.

(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.

(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.

(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.

(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.

(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
