Box Optronics' 1310nm 80mW SLD high power Light Source utilizes advanced semiconductor laser chips and dedicated integrated circuits to deliver high power, exceptional stability, and low power consumption. This light source provides an output power of at least 80 mW (with a typical value of 100 mW), coupled via either single-mode or polarization-maintaining fiber. It is equipped with a touchscreen interface that allows for the adjustment of the light source's current and power output.

Step1. Opening and assembling:

Please check whether the accessories are complete before assembly.

 

Step2. Connect the power supply:

Insert the power cord into the power cord socket of the chassis backplane and connect the power supply.

 

Step3. Connecting output fiber: Open the dust cap at the fiber connector or flange, check the fiber end face, and connect the fiber or splice the fiber to the device or power meter to be tested after confirming that there is no pollution and damage.

 

Setp4. Turn on the light source:

Turn on the power switch on the back. Note: at this time, the working current and power values are the parameters set during the last shutdown. If you need to adjust them, you can touch and modify them through the LCD screen. After setting the appropriate working current, activate the laser output through the “Enable LD” switch.

 

Step5. Shutdown

After use, turn off the front panel“enable LD” to turn off the laser output and turn off the power switch, disconnect the power cord.

Operation Notes and Maintenance-1310nm 80mW SLD high power Light Source


● When starting, first confirm that the power switch and button switch are off, and then connect the power supply. When shutting down, first confirm the disable LD off switch, then turn off the button switch, and then disconnect the power supply. Do not cut off the power supply directly when the equipment is working.

● Before connecting the optical fiber connector, wipe it with dust-free mirror paper, and be sure to cooperate with the optical fiber end face detector to observe. After confirming the cleaning, connect it through the flange; the end face of the optical fiber connector may be burned when the laser is connected. When connecting the flange, it must be ensured that there is no light operation. When not in use, please cover the dust cap of the optical fiber connector.

● To avoid burning the end face of the optical fiber connector with dust, don't frequently plug and unplug the optical fiber connector on the front panel.

● Please pay attention to moisture resistance and put it in a dry place.

● Warranty Period:

Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1 year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.

● Exclusions from Free Warranty:

During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following cases within the warranty period:

(1) The product is damaged or damaged due to natural factors or environmental effects (electric shock, dust);

(2) The product is damaged due to the user's non-standard operation;

(3) The product has obvious man-made damage;

(4) The product is disassembled, modified or repaired without authorization of the company;
