The C-band ASE Broadband Light Source Micro-Module is designed for applications requiring compact size, broadband spectrum, and high output stability. Operation Steps

Step1.Unpacking

Before assembly, check whether all accessories are complete.


Step2.Connect Power and Fiber Patch Cord

Turn on the power supply; connect the light source output port using a fiber patch cord.

Step3.Activate Light Source

Turn on the light source power supply. Note: At this stage, the operating current and power correspond to the parameters set by the host computer during the most recent shutdown; if adjustment is required, these settings can be modified via the software. Warning: It is strictly prohibited to connect or disconnect fiber optic connectors while the light source is active.


Setp4.Shut Down

After use, disconnect the power cord.

If you have a DHL/ UPS/ FedEx account, Box Optronics suggest using the EXW. We ship via your account; we don't charge the shipping cost.

(2) DAP:

If you don't have an account, please prepay the shipping cost for the products.

Lead time

It takes around 10 working days for production. (If there are some in stock, it will be faster shipped.)

The international logistics might take 3-5 working days.


Operation Notes and Maintenance

● Avoid frequent plugging/ unplugging of fiber connectors to prevent dust accumulation and end-face damage.

● Clean fiber connectors with a lint-free wipe and inspect with a fiber end-face detector before connection. Always connect/disconnect fibers without power to avoid end-face burning. Cap unused connectors with dust caps.

● Store the equipment in a dry, moisture-free environment.


2. Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service-C-band ASE Broadband Light Source Micro-Module

● Warranty Period:

Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1 year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.

● Exclusions from Free Warranty:

During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following cases within the warranty period:

(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or environmental influences.

(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.

(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.

(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.

(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.

(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
