Product Introduction
The 980nm ASE light source is based on the spontaneous emission of rare-earth optical fibers, which have good optical power and low polarization. The spectral range is 973~982nm. The output power is 10mW fixed. It features Hi1060 fiber and 35dB isolation. Suitable for testing fiber optic device loss, polarization degree, and FBG grating production.

Terms of quote and payment
● Terms of quote
(1) EXW:
If you have a DHL/ UPS/ FedEx account, Box Optronics suggest using the EXW. We ship via your account; we don't charge the shipping cost.
(2) DAP:
If you don't have an account, please prepay the shipping cost for the products.

Lead time
It takes around 10-15 working days for production. (If there are some in stock, it will be faster shipped.)
The international logistics might take 3-5 working days.
Operation Notes and Maintenance
● It is not recommended to frequently insert and unplug the output fiber connectors to avoid dust contamination, which may lead to increased insertion loss or burning of the fiber connector end face.
● When starting up, first confirm that the power switch and key switch are turned off, and then connect the power supply. When shutting down, first turn off the key switch, and then disconnect the power supply after the output indicator light goes out. Do not directly cut off the power supply when the light source is working.
● Please pay attention to moisture-proof, dust-proof, and anti-corrosion properties, and store it in a dry place.
Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service
● Warranty Period:
Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1 year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.
● Exclusions from Free Warranty:
During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following cases within the warranty period:
(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or environmental influences.
(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.
(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.
(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.
(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.
(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
