Product Introduction
The 1550nm DFB 100KHz BTF Narrow Linewidth Laser is
designed for high-precision applications that demand ultra-stable, narrowband
light sources. Operating at a 1550nm wavelength, this laser features a <100KHz
linewidth, >50mW output power. It is ideal for WDM (Wavelength Division
Multiplexing) systems, fiber-optic sensing, and test equipment that require low
linewidth and high spectral purity. When operating, this device emits a
high-intensity laser beam. Do not look directly into the fiber end face; doing
so may cause eye injury.

Notes
● When operating, this device emits a high-intensity laser beam; do
not look directly into the fiber end face, as doing so may cause eye injury.
● This device is electrostatic-sensitive; therefore, strict adherence
to anti-static protection measures is required during packaging,
transportation, and usage. Additionally, precautions must be taken to prevent
power supply surges, as failure to do so may result in permanent damage to the
device (e.g., ensuring proper equipment grounding and wearing an anti-static
wrist strap).
● Verify the stability of the product's operating circuit to prevent
damage caused by pulse currents.
● Optical fibers are fragile; do not use the fiber to pull the device.
When inserting or removing a device from its socket, do not apply pressure to
or pull on the sleeve located at the rear of the device housing. For devices
equipped with connectors, ensure that both the device and the fiber connector
are lifted simultaneously during installation or removal.
● If the pins require soldering, the soldering temperature must not
exceed 260°C, and the soldering time must not exceed 10 seconds. Particular
attention must be paid to the following: during the soldering process, the
device must be in an unpowered state, and the soldering iron must be properly
grounded.
● When using the device, strictly adhere to the operating voltage and
current ranges specified in the datasheet. Key parameters—including Ith
(Threshold Current), Iop max (Maximum Operating Current), Vop max (Maximum
Operating Voltage), and λc (Center Wavelength)—should be referenced
specifically in the test report provided at the time of shipment.Note:Operation
beyond the absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to the device.

● Warranty Period:
Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1
year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.
● Exclusions from Free Warranty:
During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services
will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box
Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following
cases within the warranty period:
(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or
environmental influences.
(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.
(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.
(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.
(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.
(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
