Product Introduction

Micro-Module C-band Erbium-doped Fiber Booster Amplifiers are designed for applications in limited spaces. The demensions are 50(W)×50(D)×15(H)mm or 45(W)×65(D)×10(H)mm optional. They can be used for power amplification of laser signals in the C-band 1530~1565nm wavelength range. They feature a 10/13/17/20/23dBm high power, and low noise. A communication serial port and power cable are provided for PC operation. When using these modules, ensure the fiber end face is clean, be aware of laser input limitations, and take necessary laser safety precautions.

If you have a DHL/ UPS/ FedEx account, Box Optronics suggest using the EXW. We ship via your account; we don't charge the shipping cost.

(2) DAP:

If you don't have an account, please prepay the shipping cost for the products.

Operation Steps

Step1.Unpacking and Assembly

Check that all accessories are complete before assembly.


Step2.Connecting Power Supply and Fiber Patch Cords

Connect the power supply; connect the signal light to the input


Step3.Turning on the Amplifier

Turn on the amplifier power. Note: The operating current and gain values are the parameters set by the host computer at the last shutdown, and can be modified via software if needed.It is strictly prohibited to plug or unplug fiber connectors while the laser is operating.


Setp4.Shutdown

Disconnect the power cable after use.

Operation Notes and Maintenance

● Do not cut off the power supply directly while the amplifier is operating.

● Keep fiber connectors free from dust to prevent burning of the fiber connector end face. Clean the fiber connector with dust-free lens paper before connection, inspect it with a fiber end face inspector, and connect via flange only after confirming cleanliness. Otherwise, the fiber connector end face may be burned when the laser is turned on. Ensure laser-free operation when connecting flanges, and put on fiber dust caps when not in use.

● Keep the equipment dry and store it in a dry place.


Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service

● Warranty Period:

Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1 year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.

● Exclusions from Free Warranty:

During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following cases within the warranty period:

(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or environmental influences.

(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.

(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.

(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.

(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.

(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
