Product Introduction

C-band Erbium-doped Fiber In-Line Amplifiers are designed for line relay in fiber laser or fiber communication systems. They can be used for power amplification of laser signals in the C-band 1530~1565nm wavelength range. They feature a 15/17/20/23/25/26dBm high power, and low noise. Commends and software are provided for PC operation. When using these modules, ensure the fiber end face is clean, be aware of laser input limitations, and take necessary laser safety precautions.

(1) EXW:

If you have a DHL/ UPS/ FedEx account, Box Optronics suggest using the EXW. We ship via your account; we don't charge the shipping cost.

(2) DAP:

If you don't have an account, please prepay the shipping cost for the products.


● Terms of payment

Lead time

It takes around 10-15working days for production. (If there are some in stock, it will be faster shipped.)

The international logistics might take 3-5 working days.


Operation Notes and Maintenance

● For single-mode fibers (Hi-1060, PM980, G652D, PM1550, etc.), the theoretical power tolerance for continuous light is approximately 200mW when the end face is clean. Therefore, EDFA models with output power <200mW can connect their output fiber connectors to other single-mode fiber devices via movable adapters (fiber flanges).

● Do not cut off the power supply directly while the amplifier is operating.

● Keep fiber connectors free from dust to prevent burning of the fiber connector end face. Clean the fiber connector with dust-free lens paper before connection, inspect it with a fiber end face inspector, and connect via flange only after confirming cleanliness. Otherwise, the fiber connector end face may be burned when the laser is turned on. Ensure laser-free operation when connecting flanges, and put on fiber dust caps when not in use.

● Frequent plugging/unplugging of output fiber connectors is not recommended, as it may cause dust contamination, increased insertion loss, or burning of the fiber connector end face.

● Keep the equipment dry and store it in a dry place.


Quality Assurance and After-Sales Service

● Warranty Period:

Free repair or replacement for non-human-induced defects within 1 year from purchase. Paid maintenance services available after 1 year.

● Exclusions from Free Warranty:

During the free warranty period, free repair or replacement services will be provided for faults caused by product quality issues. However, Box Optronics retains the right to refuse free repair services in the following cases within the warranty period:

(1) Damage caused by natural factors (e.g., lightning, dust) or environmental influences.

(2) Malfunctions due to improper operation by the user.

(3) Obvious physical damage caused by human error.

(4) Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.

(5) Altered or incomplete warranty labels on the housing.

(6) Damage or loss during transportation.
