The 1550.12nm DWDM DFB Laser (Model BFLD-CH34-XXSM-FA, ITU Grid Channel 34) is a 14-pin butterfly packaged distributed feedback laser diode specifically designed for analog CATV transmission and DWDM optical communication applications. Operating at the standard ITU grid wavelength of 1550.12nm, this device delivers 10mW or 20mW optical output power through single-mode or polarization-maintaining fiber with FC/APC connector.

Housed in a hermetic 14-pin butterfly package with integrated isolator, thermoelectric cooler (TEC), 10kΩ thermistor, and monitor photodiode, the laser provides temperature and power stabilization across the full -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range. Two pinout configurations (Type 1 and Type 2) are available for compatibility with different system board designs.
